Support for Charities

Good cyber security takes time, money, and resources, so it's unsurprising that charities are disproportionately affected by cyber security incidents.

We want to help bridge that gap by making one of our core goals to ensure that 50% of the work we deliver is pro bono support for charities.

How big is the challenge in the UK?

30% of charities experienced a cyber security attack in the last 12 months

and of those, 19% identified a negative impact on the sevices they deliver

(NCSC Cyber Threat Report UK Charity Sector 2019)

£1850 was the average cost for charities to recover from the most disruptive incidents

with £890 of this being on employee costs recover from the incident

(Cyber Security Breaches survey 2024)

83% of charities reported social engineering attacks

however only 19% of charities have a written Incident Response policy.
